Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assist with seating arrangements, and provide menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity for kitchen staff. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales potential. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, promptly addressing any concerns or special requests. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs efficiently. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours. Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations accurately. Experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess duties or food industry roles is advantageous.
