Duties Greet guests promptly with a friendly smile and provide attentive seating assistance as needed Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card payments, and upselling of menu items like wine or specialty cocktails Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, spirits, wine pairings, and cocktail options to enhance guest experience Handle guest inquiries professionally and resolve any concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction Support beverage service by preparing drinks according to recipes and standards, including spirits experience and drink service expertise Manage guest relations by fostering a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring all guests feel valued Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Culinary experience or food industry background is a plus but not required Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards in food handling Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure seamless service Join us as a Server where your enthusiasm meets exceptional service!
