Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Upsell menu items including wine, spirits, cocktails, and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards Assist with food preparation, bar service including drink mixing, and beverage presentation Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and dining spaces; bus tables as needed to ensure a tidy environment Engage with guests to foster positive relationships and handle any special requests or concerns with professionalism Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards Support team members during busy hours by assisting with host/hostess duties or bussing tables Skills Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order entry and sales processing Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightclub settings Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and processing sales quickly Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in the food industry Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity can enhance guest interactions but is not mandatory Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Server where your enthusiasm fuels memorable dining experiences!
