Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests and dietary needs are noted Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to maximize sales opportunities Maintain thorough knowledge of our menu offerings, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and food ingredients to provide expert recommendations Uphold food safety standards by adhering to sanitation protocols, proper food handling procedures, and cleanliness guidelines Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours, including bussing tables and assisting with food prep when needed Engage with guests proactively to foster positive relationships, handle inquiries professionally, and resolve any concerns promptly Qualifications Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently and effectively Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices in the food industry Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a lively environment Hospitality-oriented attitude with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding service in a fun-filled atmosphere!
