This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills and grow within the food service industry. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling and serving Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting stations to maintain a clean dining environment Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery Manage cash handling accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations Support guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, specials, and restaurant policies to provide expert recommendations Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with serving in high-volume environments or hospitality roles is advantageous Embark on a rewarding journey in the hospitality industry where your enthusiasm makes every guest's experience unforgettable!
