Part-Time Seasonal Ice Cream Server (Ages 16+) Toft Dairy - 3717 Venice Road, Sandusky, OH 44870

Schedule:

Seasonal position with flexible hours, including weekdays (when not in school), evenings, weekends, and holidays (availability required based on business needs) The Ice Cream Server is responsible for delivering outstanding customer experience while supporting daily operations at the Toft Dairy Store/Parlor. This role involves serving ice cream and related products in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service. This is an ideal opportunity for high school and college students seeking seasonal employment.

Operational Responsibilities:

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner Scoop and serve ice cream products efficiently and accurately Prepare menu items such as milkshakes, sundaes, and other desserts Maintain cleanliness of indoor and outdoor service areas Restock supplies and maintain product displays Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations Perform additional tasks as assigned

Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as scooping and serving Ability to lift light to moderate items (e.g., ice cream tubs, supplies) Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Qualifications Must be at least 16 years of age (work permit required if applicable) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Previous customer service or food service experience is preferred Flexible availability, especially evenings, weekends, and holidays
