Job Overview The Bistro Attendant is an integral member of our Food and Beverage team, dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience. This role is responsible for welcoming every guest with a warm, genuine smile, taking and preparing food and beverage orders, maintaining pristine dining and service areas, and ensuring strict compliance with all local health codes, alcohol service laws, and brand hospitality standards. Duties Warmly greet all guests upon arrival and provide prompt, courteous, and attentive table or counter service. Present menus, answer guest questions knowledgeably, provide food and beverage recommendations, and suggest wine or specialty beverage pairings where appropriate. Promptly take and enter food and drink orders into the Micros POS system. Prepare ingredients, portion, chop, and store food according to brand recipes and food safety standards. Deliver food and beverage orders to guests in the Bistro and handle occasional in-room dining deliveries. Anticipate guest needs throughout the meal, check back regularly, and handle special requests efficiently.

Math & Cash Handling:

Basic arithmetic skills to calculate tabs, apply discounts, make correct change, and reconcile shift end totals.

Availability:

Regular, predictable attendance on weekend evenings (Saturdays and Sundays, 4:00 PM - 10:30 PM) and holidays is required, along with flexible availability for other shifts as business needs fluctuate.

POS Experience:

Prior experience with Micros or comparable hotel/restaurant point-of-sale systems is preferred.
