Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Lounge Attendant, where your energetic and welcoming attitude will create a memorable experience for our guests. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and inviting lounge environment while delivering exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure guests feel valued and cared for throughout their visit. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hospitality skills in a dynamic setting, contributing to a positive guest experience every day. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements or reservations using in-person customer service skills. Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring proper food handling and beverage preparation standards are met. Maintain cleanliness of the lounge area by cleaning tables, chairs, bar surfaces, and restocking supplies regularly. Buss tables efficiently by clearing dishes and assisting with food delivery or order taking as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately using the Clover POS, including processing payments and providing change. Ensure food safety protocols are followed during meal preparation, serving, and dishwashing to uphold health standards. Communicate effectively with team members regarding guest needs, special dietary requests, or catering orders to enhance guest relations. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as host/hostess, server, bartender, or catering staff is highly preferred. Familiarity with restaurant operations including order taking, serving, dishwashing, and cash handling. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Experience with beverage preparation including coffee making or cocktail mixing is advantageous. Strong communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette to interact professionally with guests and team members. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash registers confidently.
