Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and professional service throughout their visit. Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, ingredients, daily offerings, and beverage selections. Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism and flair, ensuring presentation standards are met, and in accordance with applicable laws. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings and drink options based on guest preferences. Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow team members. Work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced restaurant environment while managing multiple tables and priorities. Process sales transactions efficiently, accurately and responsibly while handling guest's cash, credit cards, and other payment methods securely. Complete opening, closing, side-work, and cleaning responsibilities as assigned. Maintain clean, organized tables and service areas and follow all food safety and sanitation standards. Address guest needs and concerns professionally and promptly. Support fellow team members and contribute to a respectful, dependable, team-oriented workplace. Qualifications Previous professional restaurant serving experience required, with a minimum of two years experience. Proven experience in a fast-paced, full-service, food-focused restaurant strongly preferred. Reliable, punctual, responsible, and trustworthy. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with both guests and team members. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask. Professional demeanor and commitment to excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to engage guests warmly. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and processing transactions. Must be at least 18 years of age to serve alcohol. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Must have or obtain all required Oregon Food Handler and alcohol service permits/certifications. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and safely carry trays, plates, and other restaurant items.
