Portland's only riverfront country club with an unrivaled culture of year-round golf and spirited experiences that bring active families and friends closer together. Waverley Country Club is currently seeking Banquet Servers to join us this summer season. We are looking for outgoing individuals with a positive attitude that can take direction and work well as part of a team! This seasonal position is perfect for applicants looking for a fun and fast-paced seasonal serving position starting Mid-May through the end of September. Candidates must be available to work evenings, weekends and willing to work flexible hours. The starting pay rate is $22.00/hr. Waverley is a non-tipping club. In lieu of tips, we offer access to the golf course, use of kayaks and/or paddle boards for the river on Mondays, and meals during scheduled shifts. What you will do Maintains composure and professionalism in a fast-paced environment Presents members food and beverages in a positive and welcoming manner Assists with setting and breaking down rooms, tables, chairs, linens, décor, candles, and utensils. Maintains table settings by removing courses as completed, clearing and replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and replenishing drinks Be a part of a team that looks to consistently exceed members' expectations. Upholds a welcoming appearance and demeanor. Listens to and takes direction fromCaptains and Banquet Manager Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to work weekends and flexible hours. Must have a current Food Handlers Card and OLCC Permit Ability to lift 15-30 pounds. Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced and deadline-oriented environment.Similar jobs in Portland, OR
