Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. As a Lead Server, you will be the cornerstone of exceptional guest experiences, guiding your team to deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. Your leadership will ensure smooth operations, uphold food safety standards, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary knowledge, sales skills, and passion for hospitality while working in a vibrant setting that values teamwork and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead and motivate a team of servers to provide top-tier customer service, ensuring every guest feels valued and attended to with professionalism and enthusiasm Manage table assignments, coordinate service flow, and oversee the timely delivery of food and beverages using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food preparation procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in compliance with health regulations Upsell menu items and promote specials using OpenTable reservations system to enhance sales opportunities and maximize revenue Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons Train new team members on service protocols, POS operation, food safety practices, and restaurant policies Oversee cash handling, cashiering duties, and nightly closing procedures with accuracy and integrity Experience Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining or upscale venues Demonstrated leadership skills as a server or supervisor in a busy hospitality setting Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours Experience in upselling menu items to increase sales while maintaining excellent guest relations Background in culinary arts or kitchen experience is a plus but not required; a passion for the food industry is essential Join us to be part of an energetic team committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences!
