Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling additional items like cocktails or wine Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, bar areas, and service stations in accordance with food safety standards Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth service flow Use openTable or other reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently and maximize table turnover Demonstrate extensive beverage knowledge including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink service techniques to enhance guest experience Engage with guests to promote specials or upsell menu items confidently while providing exceptional customer service Follow all sanitation protocols related to food handling, beverage service, and overall restaurant hygiene Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as server, host/hostess, or bartender preferred but not required—training provided for motivated candidates Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards within the food industry Experience with fine dining service styles or upscale restaurant environments is a plus Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that promotes guest satisfaction and loyalty Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage trends enhances guest interactions Previous experience in sales or upselling techniques helps maximize revenue opportunities Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences!
