Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using Saphire Spectra POS Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Process cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales records Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food handling, preparation support, and ensuring proper food presentation in accordance with health regulations Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently and reduce wait times Demonstrate excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest service excellence Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with Resy is a plus Strong understanding of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation enhances your ability to serve confidently Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to process cash transactions accurately and handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly Basic math skills for bill calculations, change handling, and sales processing Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards preferred Exceptional communication skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest loyalty Prior experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurants is advantageous Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your energy makes every guest feel valued.
