Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a positive first impression. Take accurate food and beverage orders using hand written guest checks Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety protocols, including food handling and sanitation practices. Upsell menu items like specialty food and appetizers Manage multiple tables simultaneously by prioritizing tasks effectively through excellent time management skills. Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including culinary ingredients Process cash and card payments accurately while providing friendly guest relations throughout the dining experience. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations. Uphold food safety standards and sanitation regulations consistently to guarantee guest safety and satisfaction. Requirements Proven food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments experience is a plus but not required.. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally. Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, sanitation, beverage service, and food preparation techniques. Excellent math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Valid restaurant or hospitality certification where applicable; open availability for evening shifts including nights and weekends is preferred.
