Take accurate food and beverage orders using a cash register or point-of-sale system (Toast) Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure food safety standards are met during preparation and service. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to culinary standards. Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a helpful attitude. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to effectively assist customers. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or as a Server is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is an asset. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
