Banquets Server The primary responsibility of the Server - Banquets is to serve food and beverage as specified on the banquet event order (BEO) in a timely and friendly manner.

Position Responsibilities:

Serves food prepared to the specifications of the BEO. Serves beverages ordered and as requested by guests. Assists in the transportation of banquet meals from banquet kitchen or Team Dining to meeting room. Understands the service requirements of the banquet function and executes accordingly. Clears banquet tables as directed. Insure that the food & beverage is prepared as specified. Serve requested food & beverage to guests in accordance with banquets Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). Ensures the guest's needs are met, by checking back with the table frequently. Ensures all assigned areas are kept clean.

Minimum Employment Requirements:

18 years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States. High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English; both in oral and written form. Interpersonal skills with focused attention on guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts.

Specific Position Requirements:

1 year experience as a food server preferred. Previous banquet experience in upscale and/or high volume food and beverage establishment strongly preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English. Knowledge of wines is a plus. Possess excellent customer service skills.
