Job Functions:

Set-up, break down and coordinate an entire station, communicating with front and back of the house taking personal responsibility of the entire guest experience. Serve courses from the kitchen and service areas promptly ensuring accuracy of order. Observe diners to ensure that guests are satisfied with food and service. Respond to any additional requests and determine when the meal has been completed. Perform assigned side work both before and after shift accounting for all equipment and supplies. Adhere to all guidelines, procedures and established standards of conduct.

Requirements:

Banquet experience preferred Must be able to work a varied schedule that includes days, evenings (Friday evening availability preferred), weekends and holidays Must learn and retain basic information regarding to food and beverage preparations, service standards, & appropriate table settings and service ware Must have a friendly personality, good people skills & a strong work ethic Must be dependable and reliable Must be able to work as a team Must have time management skills Must be able to carry trays Must have reliable transportation especially after 10:00p.m. Must be responsible, able to honor schedule commitments and be on time as scheduled Must have a neat and well-groomed appearance Must have regular access to email and internet Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.; ability to lift, push/pull or carry catering equipment Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time; most shifts are 8 to 10 hours
