Responsibilities Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to guests efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining space. Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and providing additional support during busy service times. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and organizing utensils and condiments. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary needs to enhance guest satisfaction. Support food safety protocols by handling dishes and utensils properly and adhering to sanitation standards. Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items when needed, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitation standards. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for processing orders efficiently. Experience with bussing, serving, or banquet operations enhances your ability to excel in this role. Strong communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with team members and engage positively with guests. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads comfortably during busy shifts. A background in hospitality or hotel services is advantageous for understanding guest expectations and delivering top-tier service.
