JOB SUMMARY
Set up and clean banquet rooms and provide high level of service to members and guests
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up banquet area according to plan provided by Events Manager Cloth and set tables according to Club standards Attend pre-meal staff meeting Greet and provide high level of cordial and efficient service to banquet guests upon arrival Take beverage orders and serve cocktails as required Take food orders and serve food according to club standards Maintain assigned tables throughout service - water, butter, cocktails, coffee Clear soiled dishes, glassware. and silverware. Stack safely on bus trays Assist with removal of bus trays to the kitchen Remain attentive to guests from start to finish of service Advise supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur Break down and clean all assigned work areas in kitchen and banquet rooms Reset room for next event as advised by manager Clean and return all chafers and banquet equipment to their proper locations Must be 18 years of age or older RAMP Certification of ability to pass RAMP Certification test Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
