Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling all sales transactions with integrity. Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, wine pairings, and cocktail recipes to provide expert recommendations. Ensure food safety standards are met by adhering to sanitation protocols during food handling and service. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations. Foster positive guest relations by responding promptly to inquiries or concerns with professionalism and enthusiasm. Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple tables efficiently while maintaining a lively atmosphere. Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in processing orders and payments. Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully. Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to increase sales while ensuring guest satisfaction. Good math skills for accurate cash handling, processing transactions, and calculating bills. Experience in food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures is essential. Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining a lively energy that energizes guests and team members alike.
