Overview Join our dynamic team as a Food Runner and Host, where your energy and enthusiasm will elevate the guest experience from the moment they walk through our doors. In this vibrant role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, ensures their needs are met promptly, and supports the seamless flow of food and beverage service. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will help create memorable dining moments for every guest. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, provide menus, and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication between front and back of house Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining proper food handling and safety standards at all times Buss tables by clearing dishes, resetting tables promptly, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold hygiene standards Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks when needed, including basic meal assembly or garnishing Support beverage preparation by refilling drinks, assisting bartenders or baristas as required, and ensuring guests' hydration needs are met Maintain cleanliness through dishwashing, sanitizing surfaces, and adhering to food safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as host/hostess, busser, or food runner is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-first attitude are essential Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members Basic math skills for order taking, cash handling, and POS transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly in a busy environment, and lift moderate loads when necessary Experience with restaurant technology systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Familiarity with beverage preparation or catering experience is advantageous but not mandatory Join us in creating an energetic atmosphere where every guest feels valued!
