Duties Deliver prepared food from the kitchen to tables swiftly and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are maintained. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing to uphold quality standards. Clear and clean tables promptly using proper bussing techniques to maintain a tidy dining area. Handle heavy lifting safely when transporting large trays or boxes of supplies, adhering to safe lifting practices. Maintain cleanliness of service stations, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning utensils, and organizing supplies. Support the front-of-house team by providing exceptional in-person customer service and guest support. Use POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately. Assist in food running duties by delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests' tables with professionalism. Ensure adherence to food safety standards during handling, serving, and cleaning processes. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service delivery. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of food handling and safety protocols. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe practices. Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing. Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and guest services within a hospitality setting. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy hours. Commitment to maintaining cleanliness through regular bussing and cleaning routines. Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices in a restaurant setting.
