Banquet Server - Part Time Core Event Center | Irwin, PA Core Event Center is looking for dependable, friendly, and hardworking Banquet Servers to join our event team. If you enjoy fast-paced environments, weddings, parties, and working as part of a team — this could be a great fit. This is a strictly part-time, event-based position with flexible scheduling. Pay Starting at $12.00 per hour Guaranteed event tip per shift: $35 - $100 (based on event size and role) Potential for additional gratuity from clients Opportunity for advancement to Banquet Captain (higher responsibility and earnings) Most events run 6-8 hours per shift . What You'll Do Set up and break down event spaces (tables, chairs, linens, buffet stations) Serve buffet and plated meals Clear tables and assist guests professionally Maintain cleanliness of event space during and after events Work weddings, corporate events, celebrations, and occasional weekday functions such as luncheons and wakes Provide excellent guest service at all times Advancement Opportunity Reliable team members may advance to Banquet Captain , overseeing event flow, serving as the point of contact for clients during events, managing staff, and ensuring smooth execution. Schedule Events vary week to week Some weeks may have 1-2 events; peak weeks may have 10-20 events Peak season: May and September-December Additional smaller weekday events throughout the year Flexible availability is a plus, especially weekends.
