Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, including host/hostess duties when needed Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring efficient processing of sales transactions Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including wine and spirits, to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety protocols Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately while processing payments efficiently Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations; bus tables and assist with food handling as necessary Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally Requirements Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and sales processing Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs confidently Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences!
