Upsell menu items like wine pairings or specialty drinks to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Process cash and card transactions accurately while managing sales transactions seamlessly through POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations during busy hours. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs. Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs professionally. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume service periods while maintaining quality standards. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities confidently. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety at all times.
