Job Description

We are looking for an energetic, friendly, and reliable Server to join our team at Rooster Diner. As a staple in the local community, our diner prides itself on fast service, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love interacting with people, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Greet guests with a smile and provide excellent customer service from entry to exit. Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. Serve meals and refills promptly, ensuring food quality meets our standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including bussing and resetting tables. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately. Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth service during peak hours (breakfast/lunch rushes). Perform side work such as rolling silverware, stocking stations, and cleaning.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Server (Diner or high-volume restaurant experience is a plus). Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure during busy shifts. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Punctuality and a strong work ethic—we value team players! Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
