Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of teamwork, and a passion for guest services. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are complete and presented beautifully. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests. Help with food handling and preparation tasks as directed by kitchen management. Operate the POS system for order tracking and ensure timely service. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs and inquiries promptly. Support banquet services during large events as required. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with guest services and customer service principles is essential. Knowledge of food handling safety practices is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
