Job Description
The Banquet Server at the River House at Odette's is responsible for handling face-to-face contact with the banquet guests. They are directly responsible for serving all meal and beverage orders to their assigned section of the banquet guests. They are assisted by bussers and runners, but they are ultimately responsible for the service and cleaning of their assigned tables and sections. Nights, weekends, and holiday hours are required.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Offer friendly and warm greetings to all restaurant and hotel guests.
- Promptly serve drink and food orders from their assigned tables or sections.
- Provide world-class guest service by ensuring all drink and food orders are efficiently served to the table and checking with the guests that their orders are correct; make any necessary corrections as quickly as possible.
- Handle all food in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards. Comply with all Federal, State, and Local laws concerning food handling and storing.
- Remove soiled plates, glassware, and silverware from assigned tables and sections as the guest finishes their drinks and meals.
- Perform daily and weekly cleaning assignments and maintain the work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Must be flexible and willing to work a varied schedule.
- Nights, weekends, and holiday hours required.
