About the Role The Bar-Server at the Match Room delivers an exceptional dining and bar experience by engaging warmly with guests, sharing in-depth knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and cocktails, and ensuring seamless service in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This role combines attentive table service with professional bar execution, requiring both hospitality excellence and technical beverage expertise. What You Will Do Provide warm, engaging service while guiding guests through food and beverage menus using descriptive knowledge of flavors, preparation, and origins Accurately take, enter, and coordinate guest orders (including special requests) using the POS system Prepare and serve beverages including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits according to established recipes and standards Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring accuracy, quality, and presentation standards Anticipate guest needs, check for satisfaction, and resolve concerns quickly and professionally Maintain strong knowledge of menu items and beverages to confidently recommend and upsell offerings Accurately prepare and close guest checks, processing cash and credit card transactions Support daily operations including setup, breakdown, cleaning, stocking, and completing side work duties Assist with bar preparation tasks such as garnishes, mise en place, and inventory support Work collaboratively and professionally with team members while maintaining service standards What You Bring Minimum of one year of food service experience required; bartending or beverage experience strongly preferred Proven ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized in a dynamic service setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions Ability to pour, mix, and prepare a wide variety of beverages to standard recipes Schedule & Hours This position is a temporary, seasonal assignment running from June 11 through July 19 Open availability required, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays Scheduled up to approximately 40 hours per week based on business needs What We Offer Complimentary employee meals Uniform dry cleaning Want to know more about working for Four Seasons?
