Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials and wine pairings Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are noted Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Manage tables efficiently by coordinating with kitchen staff, bussers, and host/hostess team members to ensure smooth service flow Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, process payments, and provide correct change Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, adhere to food safety standards, and assist with food handling and sanitation procedures Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or upscale establishments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for reservations and order management Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices within the food industry Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with guest relations skills in a fast-paced setting Experience with food preparation, bussing tables, or host/hostess duties is a plus Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours Basic math skills for cashiering and handling cash accurately Join us if you're passionate about hospitality, eager to develop your culinary knowledge, and ready to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a lively restaurant atmosphere!
