Food and Beverage Server are responsible for providing excellent customer service while taking and delivering food and beverage orders in a restaurant, hotel, banquet facility, or similar setting.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus, explain food and beverage options, and answer questions about menu items. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. Serve food and beverages promptly and according to established service standards. Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction. Handle customer requests, concerns, and complaints professionally. Prepare and maintain dining and service areas before, during, and after shifts. Clear and reset tables while maintaining cleanliness and organization. Process payments and handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods accurately. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, hosts, and management. Assist with special events, banquets, and other service functions as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous restaurant, hotel, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Professional, friendly, and customer-focused attitude. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
