Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to providing high-quality food service in a fast-paced setting. The pay is $5 per hour, plus tips!!! Duties Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking various ingredients. Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety standards. Serve meals to customers or clients in a friendly and efficient manner. Handle food items safely according to food handling regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours. Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, ovens, grills, and other culinary tools safely and effectively. Support catering events by preparing food items as needed and assisting with setup and cleanup. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers positively. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for cooking and helping others through quality food service is essential.
