Hotel Server Job Description Job Summary:
The Hotel Server delivers excellent customer service by taking food and beverage orders, serving meals and drinks, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience. They maintain cleanliness, follow food safety standards, and work closely with kitchen and hotel staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus and explain daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders. Serve meals and drinks promptly. Check on guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Process payments and issue receipts. Set up and clear tables before and after service. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and service stations. Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Assist with banquet events, room service, or special functions as assigned. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other hotel employees.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in hospitality or food service is an advantage. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift light to moderate loads. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
