Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff as needed Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing inquiries or concerns professionally Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and revenue Basic math skills for cashiering and handling cash transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Experience in serving in a fast-paced environment such as a restaurant or nightclub is advantageous Ability to work flexible hours including nights; weekend availability is preferred This role offers an engaging work environment where hospitality skills are valued.
