Full job descriptionAbout the Role As a Candle Experience Host/Server or Chandler (Candle Maker) at Cork and Candles, you are the heart of the guest experience. You'll welcome guests, guide them through creating their own custom candles, and help create the fun, relaxed atmosphere that makes Cork and Candles a place "where friends gather."What You'll Do Welcome and engage guests with a warm, positive attitude. Guide guests through the candle-making process from selecting fragrances to pouring their candles. Educate guests on fragrance options and help them create unique scent combinations. Create a fun, memorable experience for birthdays, date nights, girls' nights, family outings, and other celebrations. Provide exceptional customer service and make every guest feel welcomed and valued. Answer questions and assist guests throughout their candle-making experience. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting candle-making environment. Follow all safety and candle-making procedures. Restock supplies and assist with inventory as needed. Assist with beverages, retail sales, events, opening and closing duties, and other store operations as needed. Be a positive team member who contributes to the energy and culture of Cork and Candles. What We're Looking For Friendly, outgoing, and genuinely enjoys interacting with people. Energetic and comfortable talking with individuals and groups. Creative and enthusiastic about making things. Strong customer-service skills. Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, social environment. Able to learn and confidently teach the candle-making process. Previous hospitality, retail, customer service, or teaching experience is a plus—but personality and a passion for creating great experiences matter most. From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 35.0 per week
