Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, providing a positive first impression. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring prompt and correct delivery. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation. Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a memorable dining experience through excellent customer service. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to support overall restaurant operations. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and billing. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly. Culinary experience or understanding of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols. Demonstrated sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Previous host/hostess or serving experience is highly desirable to ensure smooth guest flow and seating management.
