Job Overview We are seeking energetic and friendly Waitstaff/Servers to join our team! In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive food and beverage service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a lively, positive atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable dining moments for our patrons. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist with menu selections based on culinary offerings and guest preferences Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff Serve food and drinks promptly, including wine knowledge, spirits experience, cocktail preparation, and beverage service Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and open tabs with POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant software Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly suggestions and product knowledge Maintain cleanliness of tables, assist with bussing, and ensure sanitation standards are met according to food safety guidelines Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Qualifications Previous food service or restaurant experience, including fine dining or casual settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Demonstrated ability in customer service, guest relations, and hospitality principles Familiarity with food handling safety, sanitation standards, and basic math for processing transactions Experience with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service preferred Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow servers to deliver seamless service Join us at Woodland Meeting House where your energy fuels memorable dining experiences!
