Duties Greet guests warmly as they arrive, offering menus and answering initial questions about breakfast options. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail. Serve food and beverages promptly, including coffee, cocktails, wine, and specialty drinks, demonstrating spirits and wine knowledge. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales transactions processing. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations. Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including food handling, sanitation checks, and inventory management. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally. Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is highly preferred, especially within fine dining or breakfast service environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous for efficient order processing. Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink pairing enhances guest interactions. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy breakfast hours. Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques is essential. Customer service skills that foster guest satisfaction through attentive listening, friendly communication, and problem-solving abilities.
