Job Description
We are seeking skilled and attentive individuals to join our Waitstaff team at our upscale steakhouse concept, Chophouse of Chapin. As a member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and hospitality to our guests and ensuring a memorable dining experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
Presenting menus and explaining menu items, specials, and restaurant promotions. Taking accurate food and drink orders, utilizing knowledge of menu items and wine pairings. Anticipating guest needs and accommodating special requests as necessary. Checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their meals. Clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests. Processing payments and handling cash and credit transactions accurately. Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and timely service. Upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the dining area and work stations. Adhering to all restaurant policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines.Requirements:
Proven experience as a waiter/waitress or server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting. Must be at least 21 years old Must have ServSafe Alcohol Certification according to SC guidelines Strong knowledge of wines, cocktails, and menu items. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Impeccable grooming and presentation. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for hospitality. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Job Types:
