Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Temporary Holiday Server Assistant, where your energy and enthusiasm will contribute to creating memorable experiences for our guests during the festive season. In this role, you will support the serving staff by assisting with food and beverage service, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth operations throughout the dining area. Responsibilities Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly to guests, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met Clear and buss tables efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized dining area at all times Support with food running duties, including refilling water glasses and delivering additional orders as needed Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, supplies, and equipment following safe lifting practices Maintain cleanliness of service stations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces through regular cleaning and sanitation Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and addressing their needs professionally Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process orders and payments swiftly while adhering to food safety protocols Requirements Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with food handling and preparation is a plus Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask efficiently, and maintain a positive attitude during busy periods This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant hospitality team during the holiday season.
