Wild Common is Charleston's first Michelin-starred tasting menu restaurant. Our restaurant is renowned for exceptional hospitality, inviting ambiance, and providing guests with an unforgettable dining experience, all in accompaniment to Chef Orlando Pagán's innovative cuisine. Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional hospitality and service to guests by guiding them through our menu offerings and ensuring their needs are anticipated, then promptly and courteously met. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing our point-of-sale system Maintain a thorough knowledge of our food and beverage offerings, including ingredients, sourcing, and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries confidently. Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or requests to ensure a remarkable dining experience. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless coordination of food and beverage service. Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of the restaurant, including guest-facing areas, bar, and service stations. Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown of the bar area, stocking supplies, and cash handling. Ability to work the bar, producing signature and classic beverages for the restaurant in a customer-facing environment. Wine experience, both in service and in knowledge, OR strong willingness and eagerness to learn!

Requirements:

Previous experience in a dynamic restaurant environment with a high-touch service style and a proven track record of delivering exceptional service. Strong knowledge of food & beverage products, ingredients, trends, and service techniques (including wine and cocktail service). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues alike. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to teamwork. Enthusiasm for hospitality, food, & beverage, and a dedication to learning and creative development Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
