Job Description
Green Olive Restaurant is looking for servers to join our team. We are located on 922 Main St, Columbia, SC 29201, near the University of South Carolina campus. Our ideal candidate is a strong team player, fast, a good communicator, and reliable with a solid work ethic. Please come in to the restaurant to fill out an application during our business hours: Monday 11am
- 3 pm; Tuesday through Friday 11 am
- 3 pm, 5
- 9 pm; or Saturday 11 am
- 9 pm. Responsibilities Serving guests, hot food promptly, greet, seat, and take cash Take new orders Bus tables, clear, clean and reset tables Refill drinks Run food Side work
- rolling silverware, cutting lemons, restocking condiments and drink stations, sweeping Opening and closing duties Front cash register Maintain high performance of service and courtesy Satisfy guest complaints promptly, politely, and quietly Develop and maintain high ticket average (up-selling) Duties to be performed as assigned by your management team Qualifications Ability to listen and communicate effectively Able to multitask efficiently Strong organizational skills Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks Physically able to wipe down table tops, chairs, and booths; able to pick up debris from floor; able to sweep the floors; able to carry 25 or more pounds Experience as a Server a plus We are looking forward to hearing from you.
