Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and presentation standards are maintained Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including wine pairings or specials via platforms like OpenTable or direct communication Clear tables promptly, bus dishes, reset tables for new guests, and maintain cleanliness throughout the dining area Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering procedures; process payments with attention to cash handling best practices Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable reservations management is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations professionally Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in serving and food preparation tasks Experience in bussing tables, hosting/hostess duties, or supporting kitchen operations enhances your versatility in this role Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations; excellent communication skills for guest interactions Join us as a Server Team Member where your energy fuels memorable experiences!
