Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and delivering high-quality food service. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a positive first impression. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the Toast POS system. Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food items or specials. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to guests, maintaining attention to detail. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Handle guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism, providing solutions as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations. Support other team members in various roles as required to enhance guest experience. Skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Proficient phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries. Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in food service roles. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on helping guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
