Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated dietary team as a Dietary Aide/Server, where your enthusiasm and commitment will directly enhance the well-being and comfort of our residents. In this role, you will assist with meal service, food preparation, and sanitation efforts to ensure a safe, pleasant dining environment. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a enjoyable atmosphere. Responsibilities Serve meals and beverages to residents in a courteous, timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and portion control Assist with food preparation tasks under the supervision of culinary staff, including assembling trays and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, kitchens, and food storage spaces following food safety guidelines Buss tables promptly after meals, ensuring dining areas remain tidy and inviting for residents and visitors Support dietary department operations by helping with food handling, stocking supplies, and organizing snack bars daily for our residents. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service that respects residents' preferences and needs, while also building a nuturing relationship with them. Work life balance, we operate from 6 am - 6 pm (time out is dependent on how much cleaning is left after dinner service.) Skills Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is prefered Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling techniques Ability to manage time effectively during meal periods, and in between with side work Proven skills in food preparation, serving, cleaning, and bussing within a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach toward residents and team members Familiarity with dietary guidelines, meal planning, and dietetics principles is a plus Capable of working independently and as part a team to ensure smooth dining operations •This is for the Indian Land location•
