Food Runner

We are looking for skilled and friendly kitchen expeditor to join our team! This position plays a big role for creating a happy environment, while providing best in class member experiences! This position may include shifts outdoors on our beautiful ocean side pool deck, and in the kitchen, where tolerance to both sun and heat is an important consideration for those applying. Our team is dependable, enthusiastic, and genuinely interested in doing a great job. General Duties and Responsibilities Ability and willingness to work hard and show true leadership! Continually monitor incoming food sales orders Assist in food delivery to pool deck or terrace level dining when necessary Ability to troubleshoot food ticket issues to customer satisfaction Assist in dining room set up and take down for events. Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines Ensuring the efficient flow of orders from the waiters to the kitchen Ensuring orders are being prepared with the correct priority Assisting in the final preparation of dishes Expeditor requirements and qualifications 1 year of experience in expeditor role with high quality kitchen Experience with any ordering information system Ability to think on your feet and problem solve Ability to carry tray of plated meals Team player Friendly Exceptional personal awareness and communication skills Food safety training will be considered a plus

Waiting period may apply Only full-time employees eligible Hours per week: 16-39 Desired Skill(s): Proven experience as food expeditor or other restaurant position Understanding of health and safety rules in a restaurant Dexterity in using kitchen equipment or utensils and the ability to carry heavy trays Well-organized and ability to lead and direct people Excellent communication skills Outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities A customer-oriented approach Great physical endurance High school diploma; Higher degree in hospitality or relevant field will be appreciated Food handling certification may be required according to legal regulations
