Job Description
Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Part-Time Server, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. We are looking for a server to join our team to work Saturday and Sunday evenings, with the possibility to pick up extra shifts during the week. In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes patrons, takes orders, serves food and beverages, and ensures every guest leaves satisfied. Your energy and attention to detail will help foster a lively, welcoming atmosphere while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and customer service. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using Micros POS Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and presentation Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and POS systems with ease Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally Skills Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management Extensive knowledge of food industry standards including food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest satisfaction Ability to upsell menu items effectively through excellent sales techniques Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts Basic math skills for cashiering and sales transaction processing Previous experience in food service roles such as host/hostess or busser is advantageous Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences!
