Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly attitude. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items such as cocktails, wines, or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling and cashiering duties with integrity. Maintain knowledge of our menu offerings, including wine knowledge and spirits experience, to answer guest questions confidently. Support food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and cleanliness protocols. Assist with bussing tables and resetting stations quickly during busy service hours. Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently. Provide exceptional guest relations by responding promptly to inquiries and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Qualifications Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to create positive guest interactions. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables smoothly during busy hours. Ability to process sales transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail. Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one; understanding of sanitation standards is essential. Basic math skills for handling bills, change, and sales calculations confidently.
