Job Description
Server / Host We are currently hiring for both Server and Host positions. Experience in either position is welcomed, but not required. We are open to training the right people who are dependable, professional, eager to learn, and interested in growing with the team. Applicants without prior restaurant experience will begin with paid training and will need to successfully complete that training before moving into more advanced responsibilities or positions. SERVER Servers are responsible for creating a polished, attentive guest experience while managing multiple tables in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting and assisting guests throughout their dining experience Learning and confidently discussing our food, beverage, and cocktail offerings Taking accurate food and beverage orders Making recommendations and answering menu questions Maintaining awareness of guest needs throughout service Working closely with the kitchen, bar, hosts, and management Handling payments accurately Maintaining a clean and organized section Prior serving experience is welcomed, but not required. Applicants without serving experience will complete paid training and must demonstrate that they are ready to move into a serving position. HOST Hosts play an important role in both the guest experience and the flow of the restaurant.Responsibilities include:
Greeting and welcoming guests Managing reservations, wait times, and table flow Answering phones and assisting with guest questions Communicating with servers and management throughout service Taking to-go orders Accurately packing and organizing to-go orders Processing payments for takeout orders Maintaining an organized and professional front entrance Hosts also have the opportunity to earn tips from taking and preparing to-go orders. Host experience is welcomed, but not required. This can also be a starting position for someone who wants to learn the restaurant, complete paid training, and work toward moving into a server position.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
