Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and drink options, including wine and spirits knowledge. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions. Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktail and drink service, while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through friendly suggestions. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders, support food preparation when needed, and uphold quality standards. Qualifications Previous food service experience in restaurants or fine dining environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking efficiently. Knowledge of wine, spirits, beverage service, and cocktail preparation enhances your ability to upsell and serve confidently. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly. Food handling certification or food safety training is desirable; experience in food industry sanitation practices is beneficial. Nightclub or hospitality experience adds value to your ability to adapt in lively environments like bars or nightclubs.
